Dictating Map Geography

Victory isn't just aim; it's geometry. For example, controlling "Mid" on maps like Ascent is the key to fracturing the defenders' economy and splitting their attention.

Defaulting & Conditioning

Before executing a full site hit, high-level teams run "defaults." This involves spreading out, holding map extremities, and gathering information. The goal is to condition the enemy, bait out utility (like smokes or recon darts), and punish aggressive defensive pushes before committing the Spike to a specific site.

Managing the War Chest

Credits win rounds. Mismanaging your team's economy is a guaranteed path to defeat. Always communicate your buy phases clearly.

The Eco Round

Sacrificing a round to ensure full rifles and heavy shields for the next. Buy only minimum utility or cheap pistols. The goal is sheer economic damage to the enemy.

The Half-Buy

Investing in upgraded pistols (like the Sheriff) and light shields, ensuring you still cross the 3,900 credit threshold for a full buy in the subsequent round.
